Is increasing encounters are questioning the efficiency of our Judicial System?

The Gradual increase in encounters creates a situation in the society where the law enforcers become a law breaker . Somehow the public's faith in our judicial system is also decreasing . Acceptance of the  concept of 'Justice Delayed is Justice Denied' is increasing. Majority of public is justifying the encounters, due to the lack of faith in our judiciary .  Either it would be Hyderabad rape case or it be the Kanpur's incident in which the main culprit has been encountered today.

For example if we particularly talk  about the encounter of Vikas Dubey , then somewhere it is  challenging the judicial system of nation. Where a criminal is arrested ( actually surrendered to the local guards in Ujjain's Mahakal temple )  &  encountered by the UP Police in Kanpur.

Although it happened due  to political pressure by using the public sentiments arose after the policemen were martyred. There were huge chances that it might break a big political criminal nexus .

But the real question arises that, who is actually responsible for the emergence of  these dreaded  criminals ..?

  • Answer is everyone . But at different stages , firstly we as a society are the most responsible, after that local police and finally judiciary. Initially we as a society glorify such criminals for the sake of caste & religion . We as a society are the more powerful than any criminal without any weapon. Social unity will be our best weapon against such people .
  • And second, we all know that mostly police is influenced by the local politicians, by which they don't have free hands to take actions against such criminals. And it's a curse to us that more than 30% of our leaders of Parliament and State Assemblies have criminal charges against them.   Somehow if the local police cut the roots of these criminals in their starting phase then they might not become such a dreaded criminals.
  •   At last Indian judicial system is more responsible than the police because of less political influence in judiciary . For  example judiciary couldn't punished Vikas Dubey due to lack of proofs and witnesses in the murder case of a rated minister which happened inside the police station. It is nearly impossible that a rated minister is being murdered inside the police station none can witness that. But everyone (might be the Judge too) knows that he did that crime but couldn't punish him &  he was released as a free wanderer. Further he did a heinous crime against the police itself in the same locality.
On the other hand there is a long number of pending cases from decades, which is  itself a blot on the judicial system. Our judiciary system needs a reform asap. Fast track courts needs to established quickly  for such a heinous crimes like rape and murder. In which the judgment must be given in fixed time span . Definitely it will boost the public's faith in judiciary and will lower the rate of crime and encounters.

At the end I'll just say that , such encounters by the police undermines the concepts of human values and judicial legal system of India. Due to this many secrets of the criminal political nexus vanishes in seconds and the crime and corruption stays forever.

Terminal Batch 2020

Terminal Batch 2020 I am one of the students of the Terminal Batch of 2020. I were on the last steps of my academics, and I knew quite well that in the coming future, after this stage, I will never get another chance of sitting back in the classes and disturbing my friends. I knew I would miss my classroom, my teachers, my classmates, my college....In fact, every moment of my academic life that I shared with my friends. So, I was enjoying my terminal semester as much as I could. I never wanted to miss even a boring lecture given by our professors, but I bunked classes for a movie, for street food and some times just to gossip with my favorites. I never missed an offer for a cup of tea from x,y,z. I never missed out on teasing my friend on his relationship within the same class. I never missed out on the departmental fights among students. I never even missed out on my friend's girlfriend's tiffin. I never missed on saying a Hi or Bye to my friend's crush. I never missed out...
